Custom Order Service at Nayna

We understand that your special purchase is very dear to you and that you may not be able to find exactly the kind of jewel that you have in mind from the selection available on the website. At Nayna, we are happy to take on your custom orders and work with you to modify some elements from existing pieces and tweak them to your satisfaction or even create your own special piece from scratch.

Below you will find a rough guide as to how the custom ordering process works and you are always welcome to give us a call on 1-212-333-2085 and speak to our representatives to know more.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE HIGHLY PERSONALIZED NATURE OF THIS WORK ALL ORDERS PLACED THROUGH OUR CUSTOM ORDER SERVICE CANNOT BE RETURNED.

1) Orders with Slight Modifications of Existing Styles

If you like an existing item on the website and need a minor modification (restricted to the ones as defined below), please have the SKU number ready with all the details and either email it us on customorders1@naynamehta.com or call us on 1-212-333-2085. Within the next 2 working days, you will receive either a regret letter or a custom order completion offer letter including a quote, an estimated delivery date and a validity period of the same offer. Should you choose to proceed, we will charge an advance of 100% of the order value upon your confirmation and process it as a Category 1 Custom Order.

Slight Modifications of Existing Styles are defined as follows:

Changes in size – Rings can be offered in a variety of different sizes, bracelets can be offered in different lengths, necklaces and chains can have extenders put in or shortened. (Re-sizing is a separate service that we may offer but not within the scope of custom orders) Changes in metal purity and colour – We can offer most of our styles in a choice of 14kt or 18kt yellow, white or rose gold. We also offer silver and platinum on selected items. Upgrades in Diamond Quality – Most of our merchandise is offered in a standard G/SI quality, however should you wish to have a better diamond quality we are always happy to provide you a quote.

2) Orders with Any Other Modifications of Existing Styles

If you like an existing item but are still in that “there but quite not there” mode and would like to make a few changes as per the examples below, please have the SKU number ready with specific details about the change and email it to us on customorders2@naynamehta.com or call us on 1-212-33-2085. We will do a complimentary ‘order review’ keeping all your requirements in mind. Within the next 3-5 working days, you will receive either a regret letter or a custom order completion offer letter including a quote, an estimated delivery date and a validity period

of the same offer. Should you choose to proceed, we will charge an advance of 100% of the order value upon your confirmation and process it as a Category 2 Custom Order.

Examples of what we typically get requested are as below:

Change in gemstones – If you would like to replace a brilliant cut with a princess cut diamond or even change some of the round diamonds to blue sapphires, ask us and we will help where we can Changes in top view or side profile – where we can lower or increase the height of the centre diamonds, change the setting type, make the shank wider etc.

3) Fresh Styling or Re-designing of Existing styles

If you have a fresh idea in your mind and would like to see it created, we would be happy to assist you. One of our most common requests is alsowhen we are asked to design matching suites - matching pendant and/or earring to a previously purchased ring, a matching wedder to an engagement ring or a matching men’s ring to a ladies anniversary/wedding band. Have a reference photograph or a clear hand drawn sketch ready with as many details as possible like the colour of gold, the total diamond weight, the gemstone sizes etc and email it to us at customorders2@naynamehta.com or call us on 1-212-333-2085. We will carry out a complete order review for you for a nominal charge of $250 (non-refundable). Within the next 5-7 working days, you will receive either a regret letter or a custom order completion offer letter including a quote, an estimated delivery date and a validity period of the same offer. Should you choose to proceed, we will charge an advance of 100% of the order value upon your confirmation and process it as a Category 3 Custom Order.
